Central Election Commission and IUG Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

The Islamic University of Gaza and the Central Election Commission met at the Academic Affairs office in the university to discuss adding a new course for ‘Election’ to be studied as a requirement at the University.  The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding which stated that during the school year 2015-2016, a new course will be added to the list of requirements for Commerce Faculty and Sharia and Law Faculty.

Funded by EU, the CEC is applying this course in cooperation with six universities: the Islamic University in Gaza, Hebron University, Bethlehem University, Palestine Technical College, the Arab American University, and Gaza University. They will work together so as to prepare the course material.

The project comprises three stages: preparation of the course material, its presentation and evaluation.
