In Cooperation with Medical Aid for Palestinians and funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and the Faculty of Medicine at IUG, organized a three-day workshop that aimed to make a significant improvement in the care and wellbeing of children with disabilities by the promotion of a multidisciplinary team approach to assessment and treatment.
This workshop was framed as a project; the first phase of the project will see Palestinian staff being trained as multipliers; there will be an emphasis on team building and leadership.

The project will focus on six key disabilities (down syndrome, autistic spectrum disorder, visual impairment, deafness, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties).
