The Community Service & Continuing Education Deanship (CSCED) at IUG held a number of exams for the London-based Charted Institution for Securities and Investment (CISI). These exams offer specialized professional certificates issued by a prestigious international institution and in accordance with the highest international standards in the area of financial service industry.
The exams have been held for 43 participants from different institutions in Gaza including Alwasata for Securities, Alwataniya for Securities and the Islamic Bank of Palestine; the exams will upgrade the abilities of individuals in the Palestinian local community working in pertinent fields.
These examinations are held based on an agreement between the Islamic University of Gaza, the Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA), and the Charted Institution for Securities and Investment (CISI), by which the Islamic University is the only Gaza-based centre to administer the CISI exams.
