Prof. Adel Awadallah, IUG President, and Dr. Yosif El-Jeish, Faculty of Nursing Dean, received Ms. Marte Teie Hellum, Resident Manager of Norwegian Aid Committee in Palestine, on Tuesday, November 1,2015, during her visit to the Faculty of Nursing at IUG.
Prof. Awadallah briefed Ms. Hellum about the university, its history and programs, particularly postgraduate studies programs which include new PhD programs for the faculties of Science, Arts and Osool Eddin. He also explained how the university has developed its services to the community by implementing different projects such as ‘Irada Project for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training’ and ‘Students with Hearing Disabilities’ Program, supported by International Labour Organization ILO.
For his part, Dr. El-Jeish talked about the faculty’s interest in improving and preparing the students of the Faculty of Nursing and qualifying them to join postgraduate studies and to register in the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision program supported by NORWAC.
