Funded by Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TİKA), the Health Sciences Faculty inaugurated the second phase of equipping the Physiotherapy Laboratories.
Mr. Bulent Korkmaz, Coordinator of Palestine’s Program at TIKA, and Prof. Adel Awadallah, IUG President, inaugurated the second phase of equipping the physiotherapy laboratories at the Health Sciences faculty, which was funded by TIKA and implemented by Doctors Worldwide (DWW).
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al Aklouk, Deputy of Board of Trustees, members of the Board of Trustees, the university President’s deputies, and Dr. Adnan Al Hindi, Dean of Health Sciences Faculty.
Mr. Korkmaz headed the Turkish TIKA delegation, which also included Mr. Ramadan Towa, TIKA’s Palestine Program Assistant Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Mortaja, Director of TIKA’s office in the Gaza Strip, Mr. Jalal ad-Din Konkanji, Mr. Mustafa Dimir Kaya, and Mr. Unor Kiz.
The physiotherapy laboratories at the Health Sciences Faculty are equipped with modern devices, and they offer training services for the department’s students and treatment services to the students and the university’s employees and to the general public at a later stage.
