Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Reconstruction of Gaza donated for the scholarship in cooperation with Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah. QC’s office in the Gaza Strip is responsible for the implementation of the projects.

While more than 450 research projects applied for the scholarship from different private enterprises, NGOs, and governmental organizations; 66 projects won the Research funding in the Strip; 48.5% of which belonged to the IUG.

Prof. Adel Awadallah, IUG President, commended the researchers’ hard work at the university, and their distinction in receiving the funding for a big number of projects. This success is an indication of the university’s excellence in embracing brilliant researchers and students.

Prof. Abdelraouf El-Manama, the Vice Chancellor for Graduate Studies and Research, emphasized the efforts the university exerts in order to follow up with the researchers and review their applications to ensure their distinction. This, of course, was clearly proved through the results of ‘Conduct a Research’ scholarship.
