The Faculty of Medicine, at IUG, received a delegation from the University of Edinburgh, including, Dr. Mhaira Leng, Prof. Tony Jeffens, Dr. Colin Cooper. The visit aims at supporting the Palliative care and pain concept among medicine students and professional doctors.
Medicine Faculty staff received the delegation and took a tour inside the faculty and to the university hospital that is supported by the Turkish government.
The Edinburgh delegation had some workshops for the faculty students and professional doctors in the management of Palliative care and some references and guidelines regarding this important case.
