In cooperation with Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children, and donated by European Union and CBM organization, Assistive Technology Center, at IUG, organized a workshop to Identify the needs of high school students with hearing disabilities.

ATC director, Mr. Hazem Shehada, confirmed that a committee of experts who are dealing with individuals with disabilities, adding that the center developed plans to facilitate deaf integration in the university.
Thus, 13 programs are suggested for deaf students including, Professional Diploma in information technology; and Diploma in computer maintenance and smart devices, which is a professional program for one year consists of three semesters, in addition to fourth semester to focus on Arabic language learning for deaf. Programs like communication skills also will be offered in the suggested plan.
