ILO Regional Director for Arab States, Ms. Nada Al-Nashif , visited the Islamic University of Gaza, yesterday, to strengthen cooperation between both the ILO and the IUG.
Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President, accompanied with IUG Vice President and IUG officials, received the delegation that included: Ms. Rasha El-Shurafa, Programme Officer in Jerusalem Office, Mr. Rashed El-Razi, ILO Office in Gaza, and Mr. Fredriko, from ILO office in Italy.
Dr. Sha’ath confirmed that the IUG is keen to cooperate with ILO in supporting students and developing programs in the Palestinian society.
The delegation appreciated the role of universities in enhancing communities and noted that the ILO is interested in supporting public and NGO’s in the middle east and internationally.
