Faculty of Education held a scientific meeting about enhancing the teaching mathematics and science according to international exams results “Timss”. These international exams include an educational aids and educational technology. The scientific meeting discussed many issues started with the importance of developing the methodology of math and science and producing active techniques which help the scientific development.
The meeting, also discussed students avoiding of scientific majors and its causes as well as solutions, then they turn to analyze the international exams results and the high average of Palestinian students who were 1/8 of the whole number. UNRWA has emphasized its role of supervising the long learning process inside its schools in Palestine with the evaluation.
At the end of this meeting, there were active discussions about several topics that related to ministry of education, the periods of the schools, the formative and summative evaluation, and many educational problems.
