IUG considers community services as glorious aims that involved to any patriotic academic institution. This sight is the main motivation to all of activities that IUG achieved and intended to achieve; Deanship of Community Services and Continuing Education expand its activities to include advocacy matters to help many of NGO’s.
This procedure came as a part of series projects which provided by the NGO’s Development Center (NDC). A certain project of NDC aims to instruct a capacity building for three non-governmental organizations to relief their organizational building that occurred as a result of the leak of funds and occupation siege.
NDC appreciated the great efforts of IUG and the active co-operation with the university for many years of hard word to develop all the parts of Palestinian community.
The NGO Development Center (NDC) is the largest Palestinian organization of its kind working hand-in-hand with Palestinian NGOs, local cooperatives, and community development organizations to improve the delivery of services to the disaffected and build a more capable, responsive Palestinian civil society. Our programs and grants empower Palestinians to help Palestinians by providing NGOs the skills, tools and funds they require to address social needs and promote self-reliance amidst poverty.
Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship was established in 1993 to address the Palestinian society. Through the appropriate use of financial and human resources, the deanship managed to provide our community with different services such as; training courses, information technology, administrative and technical consultations. In addition to that, it makes intensive efforts to develop the local community by using all advanced means of technology (Laboratories- Workshops ….etc.).
