Environment and Science of Earth Department participated at CLIMB project for the effects of climate change on the hydrogeology of water in the Mediterranean Sea.
This participation came with 20 participation of academic and research associations and the project came true with dealing with seven areas in Mediterranean Sea include Gaza strip.
Environment and science of earth department analyzed the effects of climate change on hydrological resources of artesian aquifer of Gaza strip with co-operation with Italian and German universities. The results of this study project include the leak of the ground water and the amount of salty water which mix with water ground as a huge usage of it and an analysis of the dangerous aspects and results of climate change.
