Faculty of Arts is holding its conference for prisoners “The Palestinian prisoners toward Freedom” On 15-16th April, 2014, to focus on the history of Palestinian prisoners’ action and its most important live stations. Also it will be interested in prisoners suffer inside Israeli jails and Zionist violations toward the right of prisoners in the international law.
On 2nd April, 2014, the deanship of scientific research held a study day titled “The scientific research manners“. This event comes as series of activities that achieved by the research affairs. In addition, this event aims to activate the Innovation and creativity and discovering new scientific facts. Islamic university provides several opportunities to enhance the researches to upgrade the academic qualifications in spite of the shortage of facilities due to the imposed siege on the Gaza Strip.
On 1st April, 2014, Department of electric engineering held a workshop about” Occupation and Functional Evaluation Based Efficiency”
The workshop talked about the occupation requirements and qualifications and how the applicants try to control those factors then it implies the scope of types of questions and entrance examinations of careers. Also the workshop discussed the criterion of evaluation and the definition of efficiency to upgrade their students to the practical and professional live.
On 1st April, 2014, Department of industrial engineering held a study day about “The Reality and Ambition of Industrial Engineer”
This engineering study day discussed many aspects of the engineer live. It talked about the skills and how can the engineer occupied these skills within his work ,also talked about the responsibilities of an engineer in the development fields and interacting with other resources of science to enhance the applied engineering of community.
On 30th March, 2014, Right to Live society and Faculty of Education have celebrated the international day of Down syndrome.
As a part of Islamic university role to support disability people and help them to enhance their skills and qualification, Islamic university celebrated this humanity day with an active association of helping Down syndrome’s people. The celebration’s activities were full of the power of Down syndrome people, this power of determination and human surviving appeared in their activities of dancing dabka, singing, poetry, a play, and their English language skills. Islamic university promises to continue its help to activate this layer of society to get its chance of live with dignity.
On 2nd April, 2014, Faculty of Information Technology organized a study day about “The effects of high studies on the information technology field and development of the community”. This event happens as a series of many activities which occurred by the faculty of IT. The event aims to enhance the theoretical and applied sides of high studies and the efficiency of the academic achievements.
On 2nd April, 2014, “Fos7a” company has won the award of the Co-operation Association for Youth2014. “Fos7a “, a social network within a tourist project Mobaderoun, Won the award. The award aims to support young people in achieving their aspirations, and entrepreneurial initiatives, in addition to the establishment of leading projects within the distinctive and innovative concept of entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship, this award confirms the role and the importance of the Palestinian youth
