Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President participates in the 5th Annual Conference to implement quality systems using Innovative Technological Methods; and also, the 3rd International Platform on Integrating Arab e-Infrastructure in a Global Environment, which was held in Tunis in attendance of Dr. Moncef Bin Salem, Tunisian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research , Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of the Arab Organization of Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) and the League of Arab States, experts, researchers and academics.
The conference included a workshop under the theme “Enhancing quality assurance through internal and external quality” was also held in cooperation with Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) attended by a host of experts in education representing various Arab countries.
In addition to this, Dr. Sha’ath participated in the 3rd International Platform organized by ASREN in Tunis in December 2013 to include the development of pan-Arab e-Infrastructure and services, coordination with regional e-infrastructures, and enhancement of research and education cooperation in a wide range of activities, among Arab countries and with communities in Europe, the US, Canada, Latin America, Africa, and the world at large.
