Supported by Islamic Relief- Britain: The Opening of E-Learning Centre in the Faculty of Medicine

Supported by Islamic Relief Britain, Dr.KamaIain Sha’ath- IUG President accompanied with Dr. As’ad As’ad- IUG Vice President for External Affairs, and Dr. Mofeed Al Mokhalalati- Dean of Faculty of Medicine, in attendance of Dr. Mohammad Al Sosi- Director of the Department of Middle East in Islamic Relief –Britain, formally launched the E-Learning Center in the Faculty of Medicine.


Faculty members and organization members attended the ceremony which is held in the center of E-learning at the Faculty of Medicine.


 Dr. Sha’ath appreciated the efforts of Islamic Relief in supporting the learning process in the Palestinian universities. He said:” the opening of E-Learning Centre in the faculty of medicine highlights the role of the Islamic Relief across the world in different fields.”


 Dr. Sha’ath explained that the opening of the centre strengthens the role of faculty of medicine in providing services of student learning and health for the Palestinian community as well.


Dr. Mofeed Al Mokhalalati pointed to the depth of the relationship between the IUG and the Islamic Relief. He briefed out the achievements of the faculty of medicine through the construction of E-Learning Centre: contacting with the outside world and attracting doctors in 10 various specialties.


Dr. Al Sosi expressed his happiness to open such centers that serving the learning process in the IUG. He also appraised the level of services provided by the faculty of medicine for its students.
