Approximately 4,000 IUG students, who completed their academic work this second semester, received their degrees during IUG’s commencements at the central conferences hall at the university campus.
Students closed one chapter in their lives and will open another after graduating…” Our lives are like books that we write and edit as we live. The future will be for those distinguished students who will continue their Excellency despite the challenges.
Approximately 3135 students received undergraduate degrees and 177 postgraduate, in addition to higher diploma graduates, received graduate degrees in IUG this second semester at the year 2011-2012.
“It’s a celebration of achievement, unity and building. This commencement came in a new taste of pertinence to the community which we live in. Building the society will be a prominent logo for us.” MP Jamal N. Al-Khodari, IUG Board of Trustees Chairman, said.
The first ceremony, which started at 6 p.m., on Monday, July 04, was for Faculty of Science students while the second and third ceremonies were for the Faculties of Ussoul El-Din and Sharia & Law .
The fourth till the seventh ceremonies were for the Faculty of Education, which include approximately 1288 undergraduates and 43 graduates and that represented 34% of the of the whole number of graduated students.
The eight ceremony was for the Faculty of Commerce while the tenth day was for the Faculty of Arts.
The ceremonies were ended with the Faculty of Engineering, which included 409 graduated students beside 100 staff members and hundreds of guests, thousands of families and parents of students.
It is worthy to mention that nearly 41,000 students graduated from IUG since its foundation including ministers, community leaders, engineers and successful managers.
