A
delegation from Scotland and Baptist church visited the Islamic University of
Gaza to have more about the higher education and universities in the Gaza
Strip; in addition to hearing about the relations between the Muslim and
Christian communities in the area.
Both
the university team and the delegation discussed the conditions of higher education and Christianity in the Gaza strip.
“It
is a beautiful place, it is like an oasis; it is peaceful campus, it is very
incredible to see the 20.000 students -many of them are women; I’m very I’m
pressed with the in incubator that you have here your ideas and entrepreneurs
….” One of the delegation members said.
Dr.
sha’ath welcomed the delegation and
briefed them about the university
history, campus, future plans and partner programs such as FP7 and Tempus II.
