A delegation from Interpal-UK and Miles of Smiles, visited Islamic University of Gaza, headed by Mr. Ibrahim Hewitt – Interpal Board of Trustees Chairman,Dr. Essam Yusif – Vice Chairman of Interpal BTC, and Mr. Ibrahim Jibril, Al-Aqsa Association chairman at South Africa.
Mr. Khalid Al-Hindi- Secretary of IUG Board of Trustees, Prof. Rifat Rustom-Vice IUG President for IT and External Relations, Mr. Husam Ayesh-Vice Director of Public Relations Office at IUG, received the delegation.
A number of scholarships for IUG students tuition fees were offered by the delegation and declared by Dr. Yusif, who was proud of IUG since its foundation; confirming that the Palestinian people have the right to learn and to have the freedom to do their activities and research.
Mr. Hewitt confirmed that it’s a great pleasure and honor to be able to help the university to re-establish its fantastic and wonderful facilities to get students back in.
Mr. Jibril expressed his great honor and love for the Palestinian people and to be at the Islamic University of Gaza.
Mr. Al-Hinidi is proud to receive such a delegation of heroes who support the Palestinian people. Mr. Al-Hindi thanked Interpal for supporting IUG scientific laboratories and the big efforts that were offered by Emergency and Development fund, at Interpal-Britain.

“We thank you for the efforts, for the hardships you faced.. for all candid work you have done to help your Palestinian brothers and sisters, particularly the IUG” Prof. Rustom added.
