Committee Charity to Support Palestine-France Visits IUG

A delegation from the Committee Charity to Support Palestine- France visited Islamic University of Gaza, today, including Dr. Zuhair Mahmoud- Head of the Committee and Mr. Khalid Al-Sholi-General Secretary of the committee. University officials received the delegation and welcome their visit.    

The delegation opened a number of scientific laboratories at the university supported by the committee.

Prof. Rifaat Rustom- vice IUG President for IT and External Relations briefed the delegation about the academic development of IUG, referring to community and academic services offered by the university.

Prof. Rustom referred to twinning relations and partnership between the university with other universities and international and local institutions. Moreover, Prof. Rustom talked about the future projects of the university such as: the city of technology and engineering science and the hospital of the university, which would contribute to the development of the educational process at the university.

Dr. Mahmoud expressed his pride of IUG as an academic institution of higher education institutions. The committee promised to support higher education institutions in Palestine. Also, Dr. Mahmoud appreciated the University for Constructive Efforts in the service of education and active participation.

The delegation toured in many places at the university and officially launched scientific labs for the Faculty of Science.
