Faculty of Arts, at IUG, organized the Fifth Scientific Conference entitled “Al-Quds .. History and Culture”, supported by “Al-Quds International Institution” and “Etilafu El-Khair”, to confirm on the importance of the identity of this Palestinian city and its culture.
” Al-Quds is on the top of our priority despite of what sanctions imposed on the Gaza Strip, and there should be a stand from people inside and outside Palestine beside Al-Quds City” Jamal N. Al-Khudari, Board of Trustees Chairman, said at the first session of the conference.
Dr. Sha’ath referred to the crimes that targeted Al-Quds City, that are related to education deprivation, racial discrimination; in addition to the occupation violations against the Arab and Palestinian people.
Prof. Mahmoud Al-Amodi, Faculty of Arts Dean, briefed the conference objectives which referred to the Palestinian art about Al-Quds and to join humanity with the geographical atmosphere of Al-Quds.
