Algerian Scholars Delegation headed
by Dr. Jamal Maymony- A Pioneer at Science Simplification in Algeria- visits
the IUG. The delegation includes specialist scholars in the fields of Astronomy
and Astrophysics and Dr. Salam Al Agha- Al Aqsa University President.
Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath-IUG President-
receives the delegation with Dr. Mohammad Shabat -University Vice President for
Academic affairs-, Dr. Yihia Al Saraj- University Vice President for
Administrative Affairs, Dr. Taleb Abo Sha’r – University Vice President for
Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Nizam al Ashqar- Faculty of Science Dean, Dr.
Solaiman Baraka-Carrier of UNISCO Chair, Dr. Zeyad Abu Hein – Coordinator of
UNISCO Chair for Astronomy in the IUG and Dr. Raed Salha-Director of Public
Relation Office at the IUG-.
Dr. Sha’ath welcomed the Algerian
Scholars Delegation and briefed them with the development of high learning in
Palestine and the development of the IUG as well. Dr. Sha’ath confirmed that
such visit supports the chair’s position in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Dr. Al
Agha is very pleased of the delegation’s visit to the IUG.
