A delegation from the International Statistics Center visited the Islamic University of Gaza on Wednesday 18th of April, 2012. The delegation included: Mrs. Ola Awad-President of Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Mr. Juraj Riecan Director of Statistics Division at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA), Mr. Paul Cheung –Director of UN Statistics Division and GGIM Secretariat (UNSD), and group of PCBS members. The university presidential board received the delegation in the central meeting room of IUG.
Mrs Awad thanked the University for the Sincere Welcome confirming that the IUG has a good reputation and number of students despite the restrictions and challenges.
