A students’ delegation from Goldsmith University visited the Islamic University of Gaza, on Monday June 13, 2011, and met their partners as well as Prof. Rifat Rustom- Vice President for IT & External Relations, Dr. Nazmi El-Masri- Assistant to Vice President for External Relations, Mr. Husam Ayesh- Vice Director of Public Relations Office.
Prof. Rustom appreciates such a visit confirming on the university happiness to receive students from one of the famous universities in the UK.
“We are more than proud and happy to see you here in Gaza … we feel very happy hoping that there will be more visits in the future” Dr. El-Masri confirmed.
“This is one of the fruits of our visit to London universities last year and we hope that we can do something jointly” Dr. El-Masri added.
Mr. James Haywood- Head of Students Union at Goldsmith University, express his high privilege and honor to be at IUG and to support Palestine and Palestinian students adding that much more solidarity will be offered for universities in Palestine.
