IUG president Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysian Universities


In a successful working visit, Dr Kamalain
Sha’ath- IUG president accompanied with Dr. Wesam El Madhioon- responsible for Malaysia
and Southeast Asia file in External Affairs at IUG, has signed memorandum of
understanding with the Malaysian Universities: U.T.M, U.P.M, and UNTEN.

 The Malaysian University of Technology

Aimed at the academic cooperation
between IUG and U.T.M universities, Dr. Sha’ath has signed with Dr. Dato Zano
Bn Ohanh- U.T.M president an agreement presenting two PHD scholarships in vital
areas: construction engineering and water desalination another three PHD
scholarships granted by Al Aqsa institution and providing summer training
opportunities for teachers and Bachelor students.

U.P.M University

To fund a joint research projects, to
help IUG scholarship students especially in food security area, to develop the
academic specializations related to a agricultural field, and to provide
opportunities  of research after PHD for
IUG teachers, Dr.. Sha’ath has signed this agreement with Dr. Dato Fawzi
Daaman-U.P.M university in Malaysia.

UNTEN University

Dr. Sha’ath has signed another
agreement with UNTEN university presented by Prof. Kamal Mostfa-Vice president.
It aims at student exchange program, courses study in both universities, the
joint supervision for PHD student, lectures via videoconference, the joint research,
and cooperation in energy research.
