The Islamic University of Gaza celebrated Sunday,March 18,2012, the launching of Irada Project, Funded by the Turkish Government and sponsored by TIKA Institution.
The Project offers vocational and professional training and capacity building for the disabled of Gaza War in 2008. The project is seen as a paying back for this target group who deserve to be given attention

“The Project is considered one of the biggest of its kind that serves this sector. It is generously donated by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” MP Jamal N. Al-Khodari, Board of Trustees Chairman, said in the ceremony.
MP Jamal N. Al-Khodari, Prof. Mohammed Shabat- Vice IUG President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahed Rabah-Dean of Continuing Education and Community Service, Eng. Emad El-Masri-Director of “Irada” Project, attended the ceremony of “Irada”, in the lobby of central conferences hall.
MP Al-Khodari expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the unlimited support from the Turkish government confirming that “Irada” project shows the continuous commitment from the Turkish government and its people towards the Palestinians.?
