During a tour around the British universities, IUG President-Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath conducted visits to Brunel University, the University of Bath, University of Southampton, the University of PortSmooth, and the University of Surrey .
Based on British Council arrangements for a number Palestinian university presidents, the visit aimed at putting policies to encourage scientific research and to offer the best chances in the labor market after graduation.
In the same context, Dr. Sha’ath signed a cooperation agreement with Suez Canal University president, Dr. Mohammed Muhammadin, aiming at encouraging scientific research and learning for university students and professors.
