In a warm welcome and a brotherly atmosphere, a cooperation agreement was signed between IUG and Dicle University in Turkey on Feb 17th, 2012.
Both Prof Dr. Aslan Bilici,Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dicle University, and Dr.Nazmi Al-Masri- Assistant Vice President for External Affairs, IUG, signed the agreement in attendance of several faculty deans from Dicle University. 
The agreement promotes academic collabration between both universities with more focus on exchange of academics and students and conducting joint scientific research as well as promoting teaching Arabic and Turkish languages.
Dr Al-Masri expressed his pleasure and gratitude for Prof Dr. Aslan Bilici, the deans and academics at Dicle university for their strong willingness to collaborate with IUG and for their kind hospitality.
