Following discussions between IUG and USM during
a meeting of Muslim vice Chancellor/President Forum at Royal Chulan Hotel,
Kuala Lumpur 2012, the parties wish to establish collaboration and explore
opportunities to develop, support and enrich the development of research in the
fields that will beneficial both parties.
According
to the agreement, USM will assist IUG’s community based program; educational
and capacity building. USM will also collaborate in research program of mutual
interest especially the nano technology, solar and LED.
This
MoU shall form the basis of consensus for the parties to examine the feasibility
of the collaboration until such time when any other manner of agreement is
entered into by the parties upon terms and conditions to be mutually agreed
upon.
