At official ceremony, IUG has granted Prof. Chomsky Honorary doctorate with the attendance of Deputy Jamal N. Elkhodari- Head of Board of Trustees at IUG, Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath – IUG President.
Appreciating his great scientific efforts and his support for the Palestinian cause, Dr. Sha’ath has read resolution No. (M A / 35/2012) which awards officially Honorary doctorate for Chomsky.
In his turn, Eng. Elkhodari has emphasized that this granting is a sign of IUG deep appreciation for his human situations supporting the Palestinians in their right of free life. He added that Palestinian people truly value their scientists, philosophers, and thinkers who serve human cases.
Thanking the warm reception and giving honorary doctorate, Chomsky congratulates IUG on the success of the 1st international Conference on Applied Linguistics and Literature wishing more progress in its activities.
