Irada Program has
received fund from The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), through the
Islamic Development Bank to implement Tamkeen project: rehabilitation,
training, and small business fund for people with disability in Gaza Strip.
The project aims to
integrate people with disability economically and socially in the Palestinian
society, increasing the confidence of the society with their abilities to be
active members in the development process. (70) Person of people with
disability will be selected and trained in different vocational training
courses: Carpentry, Furniture Upholstery, Furniture Painting, and Woodcarving
Using PC (CNC).
It is worth
mentioning, Tamkeen project is part of Irada Program which rehabilitated (400) of people with disabilities
professionally through vocational and academic training , helping them to find
good jobs and integrate in the Palestinian society.
