Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath- IUG President – received a delegation from the French Consulate in Jerusalem. The delegation consists of Mr. Philippe Cappelaere- University and Institutions Cooperation Attache , Mrs. Jolie Belmont- Assistant in Cooperation and Research Department in the Consulate- and Mr. Tristan Leplat- Assistant University Cooperation in the Consulate.
Dr. Asa’d Asa’d- Vice President of External Affairs- attended the meeting with Dr. Nazmi Al Masri- Assistant Vice President of External Affairs for External Relations-, Dr. Alaa Jmasi- Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education in the University- and Mr. Hosam Aysh- Coordinator of External Scholarships.
Dr. Sha’ath discussed with the delegation the development of the university, the colleges and the deanships in the university and its role in serving the community and the university’s effort for developing the scientific research. Dr. Sha’ath pointed also to the university’s relations with the French universities and Institutions.
The French delegation was interested in seeking cooperation with the IUG in developing the programs and serving the higher education as well.
