Faculty of Sharia & Law, at IUG, signed an agreement with the United Nations Development Program, to strengthen clinical legal education among the students of the faculty and the community as well.
Prof. Muhammed Shabat- Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Rifat Rostum- Vice President for External Relations and IT, Prof. Maher Al-Huly- Faculty of Sharia & Law Dean, university and community seniors, received Mr. Sascha Graumann- Director of UNDP office at Gaza Strip accompanied with Mr. Ibrahim Abu Shammalla, Eng. Dawood El-Masri, and Mr. Ala’ Al-Shawa- from the UNDP.
Prof. Rostum expressed his pleasure that this partnership is signed to offer the help for students and the community of the Palestinians hoping that this agreement will be possible in the recent future.
Mr. Sascha confirmed that the importance of such a project inspired of establishing a legal clinical that can offer the help for students and the marginalized sectors of the community adding that this memorandum will make the chance better for those legal students to be help the Palestinian community specially education, human rights and law.
