Due to international LANCET and local criteria, Medical Faculty
has conducted a workshop about how to write scientific papers. This workshop is
attended by Dr Mofeed El Mokhalalaty – Minister of Health, Dr. Omar Frwana-Dean
Medicine Faculty, Sir Iyan Charmles , some teaching members from the medical college,
some MOH- ministry of health- workers and UNRWA.
Emphasizing on the scientific research importance, Dr. El
Mekhalalaty demands to include it in all actively fields supporting the
conjunct cooperation between MOH and the educational institutions to go on. In
his turn, Sir Charmles has shared with “How did Gaza affect his scientific
research progress referring to his occupational life 40 years ago, Sir Charmels
added that his sixties work experience in Gaza led him to establish Cochrane
Collaboration-the first highly qualified scientific center- in 1992 and to work
as a president consultant in James Lean Library for the scientific research.
Sir Charmles has appreciated the high level conversations
introduced by the participants including the scientific critical criticism
among the researchers and medical activists
in Palestine as it is reflected positively on the Palestinians health. Displaying
the accepted papers in Beirut conference before and after modification last
year, the workshop has discussed the trustworthy scientific method for
scientific research. At the end, Dr Khames Elese- a teacher in the medical
college- said that such a workshop is a sign of the proofed medicine unit
activities concerned about scientific heath concepts supported by a strong
scientific proof as in the scientific and heath institutions.
