Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath – IUG president- has received Mr. Allen Smart-chairman of the British Council in Palestine – with Mr. Sohil Tarzi- Director of the British Council office in Gaza. The meeting is attended by Dr. Nazmi El Masri- assistant of vice president for the external affairs, Dr. Raed Salha- director of public relations, Eng. Basil Qandeel- project coordinator, and Alaa Murad- English Language institute coordinator at deanship of community service and continuing education.
After viewing IUG developments in the academic field as: expansion in IUG specialists, expansion in students number, the high quality of the academic staff, and many scholarships in Britain, Turkey, Malaysia, and South Africa, Mr. Smart appreciated the high quality of academic services at IUG , its contribution in community development either in the strategic programs as Irada Project, or training projects through courses confirming at the importance of cultural interest for young people especially in English.
