Dr Kamalain K. Sha’ath- IUG president -has met a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO), discussing establishing new bonds of cooperation between the university and the WHO. The meeting took place at presidential office, and was attended by a group of IUG officials.
Dr Sha’ath expressed his high appreciation for the Joint projects between the IUG and the WHO. He, also, stressed the high interest of IUG in establishing strong bonds of cooperation with regional, national, and international institutions.
Dr Sha’ath encouraged the importance of using the modern techniques of communication in weaving strong relationships.
Mr. Nasser Soboh- Director of Information and Coordination at WHO- talked about the efforts of his organization in promoting communication between the world countries. For example, WHO works hard to connect the Hospital of King Faisal University at Saudi Arabia with various health ministries and interested health and academic institutions in order to ease communication between them.
