Faculties of Education and IT, at IUG, organize a study day about technology and e-learning, to motivate the university staff as well as students for using the recent technological tools in their teaching and research.
Prof. Elian Al-Holi – Faculty of Education Dean, Prof. Nabil Hiwehi – Faculty of Information Technology Dean, and Dr. Mohammed Abu Shuqair – Supervisor of Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Education, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, specialists in the fields of education and technology in the Gaza Strip, staff members and students, attended the first session of the day at the conferences hall of Tiba building.
Prof. Al-Holi noted that education witnessed a worldwide plan of improvement as a result of e-learning progress that based on constant update for knowledge referring to difficulties that faces the improvement such as finance and lack of human capabilities.
Prof. Hiwehi shed a light on the importance of such a study day referring that the university established an e-learning center and encouraged using the e-learning in many aspects of students’ life
