During His Visit to IUG: Mr. Clark- Former United States Attorney General:
“The Palestinian people should have equal right, equal dignity”
“The Palestinian people should have equal right, equal dignity and should strive to protect themselves”. Mr. William Ramsey Clark- Former United States Attorney General, said in his lecture at Islamic University of Gaza.
MP. Jamal N. Al-Khodari, Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG President, and University council received Mr. Wiliam Ramsey Clark – Former United States Attorney General- at the Board of Trustees office, who delivered a lecture entitled International Law and the Future of Palestine.
Mr. Clark confirmed that Palestinians have a big challenge but still they strive to protect themselves and to save their souls as well as to continue their normal life.
Mr. Clark explored a historical view of the Palestinian people right to exist supported by the international law referring that there are 88 international countries in the United Nations who support Palestinians adding that the voice still around the world under the rule of law stand with the Palestinian people.
MP Al-Khodari assured that this historical visit is a great step to be with the Palestinian people during the imposed siege on them since four years.
Dr. Sha’ath talked about the university establishment since 32 years and its academic programs adding that there are wide relations with the international institutions in the world.
