A student from IUG has got the first place at “Made in Palestine2010” competition that was organized by Alnayzak organization.
Engineer Aymen M. Husin, IUG postgraduate student, from the Faculty of Engineering, made an amendment project and addition to the traditional bathtub through placing a small electronic board on it to electronically control the water, temperature, brush and shampoo through small keys, as well as placing a box for the equipment and motors which will fulfill the request in the bathtub.
This project helps partially paralyzed patients and people with special needs to depend more on themselves, which also helps in improving their psychological state and development in daily life.
It is worth to mention that professor Muhammed AbdulAti, assistant professor at the faculty of engineering, supervised the project.
