Donated by World Health Organization and in cooperation with the Palestinian Health Ministry, Department of Psychology, at the Faculty of Education of IUG, organized a study day about the Mental Health of Women and Children in Palestine.
Prof. Elian El-Holi, Faculty of Education Dean, Dr. Samir Quta, Psychological and Educational Counseling Center Chief, Dr. Fu’ad El-Esawi, Director of Primary Care in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Mr. Diya’ Saima, WHO Representative, researchers , faculty staff and students attended the activity.
Prof Al-Holi confirmed that preserving human health, preventing disease, and promoting health through the organized efforts is a potential to achieve the comprehensive human development.
Mr. Saima expressed the WHO interest to cooperate with IUG through the academic programs to have a connection between theoretical and practical aspects.
