IUG Celebrates the Summer Group of 29th Graduation Class.

With graduates’ family members and friends, university officials, other academic leaders, IUG held the ceremonies for its 29 class of undergraduate and postgraduate students on Wednesday and Thursday, 29th ,30th September 2010.

MP. Jamal Al-Khodari, chairman of Board of Trustees, assured the parents, students and the community of the university future plan which started to put the basis of an Engineering Technological City ,a University Hospital and completed a successful TV channel the last year, adding that the university will offer the best it can to enhance the ability of students as well as the community.

MP. Al-Khodari described this graduated class of the “Al-Quds and Freedom” as a dignity of the city of Jerusalem, which will remain a historical focused place, and freedom, as a requirement of the Palestinian people, referring to the remarkable role played by Sheikh Raed Salah to the city of Jerusalem to keep the city a Palestinian Arab identity,

Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President, talked about the university programs which reached 100 programs of study at the undergraduate, Higher Diploma and Professional Diploma in addition to postgraduate, referring to Engineering Faculty award of Islamic Development Bank this year in addition to other scientific research awards.

Dr. Sha’ath added that the university is keen to enhance the abilities of staff and students in scientific research so that the university has a number of scientific conferences during the academic year; confirming that the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering will have international conferences this month entitled ” Updates in Pediatrics” and ” Engineering and Gaza Reconstruction”.
