Prof. Mohammed Shabat is chosen to be a Euro- Mediterranean University expert

Prof. Mohammed Shabat, vice IUG president for Academic affairs was chosen to be one of the experts in the project of the European commission to support the Euro- Mediterranean University and a member in the international committee of an international conference in Canada.

The mentioned project aims at enhancing the academic and scientific development and technical collaboration for the Mediterranean union and contributing to supporting and activating the decisions of Paris conference that consider EMUNI University as one of the six main regional projects in the Mediterranean union.

The project includes three main activities: developing six educational programs in collaboration between EMUNI university and Mediterranean universities, developing the policy of EMUNI university in the fields of quality, MA and PhD programs, organizing international conferences, and publishing the accomplishments if EMUNI university.

Prof. Shabat won Galileo international prize, Abdel Hamid shoman prize for young scientists in addition to getting DAAD scholarship and Alexander scholarship. Prof. Shabat also collaborates with universities in Britain, Germany and Egypt in supervising on MA and PhD theses and their discussions. He fulfilled all his accomplishments in Disport city in Germany.

In addition, he contributed to enhancing and supporting the academic march at IUG especially in the physics department, improving it and its international relations.
