Dr. Kamalen Sha’ath, IUG President, received a Sudanese Delegation headed by Prof. Mohammed Said Al- Khalifa, Vice President of the University of Om Darman. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Sadeeq, Mr. Mohammed Al- Nabhani from the Sudanese Red Crescent and Mr. Al- Moez Abas, a Sudanese informative were among the delegation.
Prof. Mohammed Shabat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mofeed Al- Mokhalalati, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Sana’a Abo Daqa, Assistant of Vice President for Academic Affairs, Head of Quality Unit, Dr. Raed Salha, Director of Public Relations, Dr. Fadel Naeem, staff member in the Faculty of Medicine and Mr. Husam Ayesh, Vice Director of Public Relations attended the meeting with the delegation.
Dr. Sha’ath briefed the delegation about the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and its development adding that studying at IUG gives the students the opportunity to cope with the community.
On his turn, Prof. Khalifa highlighted the role of universities in serving the community and the scientific research. He added that his visit to Gaza aims at exchanging knowledge and experiences in the field of strategic planning and modern methods of medical related learning.
