Donated by the International Bank, a New Class of Teachers Graduated

Donated by the International Bank, Education Faculties, at the Palestinian Universities, celebrated graduating a group of teachers who have past a training program.

The graduated group is from Islamic University of Gaza, Al-Azhar University, and Al-Aqsa University and Deans from the three universities attended the celebration, including: Prof. Muhammed Shabat, Vice IUG President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Elian El-Holi, Faculty of Education Dean at IUG, Dr. Sofiyan Abu Njela, Faculty of Education Dean at Al-Azhar University, Dr. Ne’man Elwan, Faculty of Education Dean at Al-Aqsa University, and Dr. Fat’hiya Alolo, Director of Developing Practice at the Education Faculties at the Palestinian universities.

Prof. Shabat confirmed that it is a big ambition for us to enhance the level of academic staff and that will surely affect the good level of students and scientific research.

Prof Shabat added that this project has a role of developing the curriculum plans and of providing universities with labs, books and references; adding that the IUG is concerned with such cooperation with the local universities to support the atmosphere of development.

Dr. El-Houli praised the teamwork and communication between the faculties of education to achieve success among the Palestinian universities.

Dr. Alolo explained the project contained 350 training hours for the academic staff of the three universities, during the seven training courses; in addition to 310 training hours for 30 students.
