IUG celebrated ending the project of developing the practical aspects of teacher training program in education faculties in the Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip.
The project is supported by Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) in the Ministry of Education and funded by the World Bank and the European Union.
Prof. Mohammed Shabat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sanaa Abo Daqqa, Assistant of Vice President for Academic Affairs, Head of Quality Unit at IUG, Dr. Fathya Al- Loulou, manager of the project of Developing the Practical Aspects of Teacher Preparing Program in Education Faculties in the Palestinian Universities in Gaza Strip, Dr. Abdalla Abed, Representative of the World Bank in Gaza Strip, Prof. Alyan Al- Houli, Dean of the Faculty of Education at IUG, Dr. Nemat Elwan, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Al- Aqsa University, Dr. Sohayb Al- Agha, Ex- Dean of the Faculty of Education at Al- Azhar University, Dr. Osama Hamdona, Coordinator of the project at Al- Azhar University and Mr. Hasan Mahdi, Coordinator of the project at Al- Aqsa University attended the celebration.
This project is considered one of six programs carried out at IUG and funded by the World Bank and the European Union and supported by QIF in the Ministry of Education.
The project aims at enhancing the practical side of Teacher Preparing Program in Education Faculties in the Palestinian Universities in Gaza Strip in order to match the educational and technical developments and exchanging experiences between universities and the Ministry of Education and UNRWA.
