An Algerian delegation visited IUG on June 13, 2010 and met with the university board of Trustees chairman and the University President.
For his part, head of the delegation Nasser Addin Shaqlan said that the convoy reflects the size of love that the Algerian people have for the Palestinian people and in Gaza.
Mr. Sheqlal expressed his respect to the great role that was offered by the IUG especially after the big loss and damaged that had been happened to its scientific and engineering labs.
MP Jamal N. Al-Khodari, IUG Board of Trustees Chairman, confirmed that there is a warmly relationship with the Algerian people adding that the siege has a bad reflects on both education and employment in the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Sha’ath confirmed that IUG was a sample of steadfastness and challenge referring to its role of enhancing the community by its successful graduates.
