Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President, and Dr. Mufeed Al-Mukhalati, Faculty of Medicine Dean, received a delegation from Doctors without Borders including: Jeam duc dambert, Head of Mission for Palestine- Al-Quds, Carol Nagy, Medical Coordinator, and Fabrice Bossoliivi, Project Coordinator-Gaza.
Dr. Sha’ath welcomed the delegation and briefed them of the IUG good relation with the medical affairs and the future plans to enhance medicine at the university like establishing a medical city to include a university hospital beside other medical facilities.
Dr. Al-Mukhalalti gave a brief about the Faculty of Medicine and its good relations with the medical schools and institutions inside and outside the country adding that the faculty managed to overcome the challenges especially after the Gaza war when its labs were destroyed.
Dr. Dambert expressed his pleasure after the visit and hope that the institution will formalize cooperation with the university as soon as possible.
