Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President, received a delegation from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to seek cooperation between IUG and the organization.
The delegation included Mr. Simon Boas, Gaza Emergency Program Officer, and Mohammed El Shattali, Deputy Project Manager.
Prof. Rifat Rustom, vice President for IT and External Relations, Dr. Fahed Rabah, Community Service and Continuing Education Dean, Dr. Alaa El Jemasi, vice Dean for Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship, Dr, Muhammed Meqdad, Faculty of Commerce staff member, attended the meeting at the president office of IUG.
Dr. Sha’ath briefed the delegation about the university and its facilities, programs and service for students and the community as well.
Dr. Sha’ath referred to some activities that will be held at the university during the May such as the Fourth Technological Forum, which concentrates at some creative ideas and programs done by the students and included some suggestions to solve the community difficulties; in addition to the Commerce Faculty Conference which had a sector talking about agriculture.
Mr. Boas was proud of the university history and activities beside the services that were offered by the university to the community.
