“IHH Turkish Establishment promises to support people in Gaza Strip and contribute to rebuilding the Islamic University”, said Mr. Mohammed Kaya, General Director of Turkish IHH establishment office in Palestine while being in the celebration of the inauguration of two computer labs funded by the mentioned establishment.
MP Jamal Naji AL-Khodari, Head of Board of Trustees at IUG, Mr. Mohammed Hasan Shamaa, Vice Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG President, Mr. Khaled AL-Hendi, Secretary of Board of Trustees, members from Board of Trustees, Prof. Rifaat Rustom, Vice IUG Pres. For External Relations and IT, Dr. Asaad Asaad, Head of Resources Development Center, members from the university council, Deans Vices and members from students’ councils attended the celebration of the inauguration.
Mr. Kaya expressed his happiness and pride because of being among the Gazans saying that he appreciates them being concerned with learning, culture and civilization despite of the imposed siege. He declared that the determination and strong will of the Gazans is a reflection of their dignity.
Mr. Kaya also appreciated the great efforts done by the Board of Trustees and the University Council saying that the Islamic University determining to continue its march after the war has motivated IHH establishment to do its best to support the university and rebuild what has been destroyed.
MP AL-Khodari appreciated the great role of Turkey in supporting the Palestinian People, and he thanked IHH Establishment for supporting IUG and contributing to rebuilding its buildings and labs. He shaded light on the losses caused by the war showing that 74 scientific and engineering labs were destroyed, two buildings were destroyed totally and some of them were destroyed partially. He thanked IHH Turkish Establishment especially Mr. Boland Yardem, Chief of the establishment, Mr. Mohammed Kaya, General Director of the establishment Office in Palestine and the employees in the establishment for their great efforts in supporting the university.
On his turn, Dr. Sha’ath stated that opening the two computer labs funded by IHH Turkish Establishment shows the great relationship of brotherhood and constructive collaboration between the Islamic University and the establishment. He appreciated the role of IHH Establishment and staff members in it in supporting all fields of life in Gaza Strip especially education which is the most important field for the Gazans.
MP Al-Khodari has given Mr. Kaya a shield of appreciation praising the establishment for its great efforts in supporting IUG.
