Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG President, received Dr. Raija Leena Bonamaki, expert in the field of child psychotherapy at Helsinki University. Dr. Sameer Qouta, Head of psychological and educational guidance center at IUG accompanied Dr. Bonamaki during her visit to IUG.
Dr. Sha’ath talked about the academic programs provided by IUG for BA and MA students. He mentioned that IUG is concerned with scientific research and cultural and societal activities saying that it provides higher education service for inhabitants of Gaza Strip in particular and the Palestinian people in general.
Besides, Dr. Bonamaki visited the Faculty of Education and met Prof. Elyan Al-Houli, Dean of the Faculty of Education who briefed her on the faculty and the services and programs it provides in the field of clinical psychotherapy.
Prof. Al-Houli mentioned that the Faculty of Education is interested in supporting educational and cultural fields, the thing that contributes to its development and improvement.
Dr. Bonamaki had a tour in the departments of the faculty and the center of psychological and educational guidance.
