Francoise Jacob and Philibert de Mercey from Altai Consulting Group, who are delegated by UNESCO, and Dr. Øyvind Wistr?m, Education specialist, visited Islamic University of Gaza to seek cooperation in the field of ICT.
Prof. Rifaat Rustom, Vice IUG President for External Relations and Information Technology, Dr. Nazmi Al-Masri, Assistant to Vice President for External Relations, Dr. Hala El-Khozondar, Coordinator of External Relations in Vice President for EX & IT Office, Dr. Hatem Hammad, Assistant to Vice President for Information Technology, Dr. Muhammed Mikki, Director of E-Learning Center at IUG, received the delegation.
Prof. Rustom thanked the delegation for their efforts in rehabilitating and enhancing the university facilities and labs that were attacked and extremely affected the students research and community’s services.
Dr. Al-Masri briefed an idea about the university and its faculties as well as its services to students and community confirming that education is the only way for Palestinians to survive hoping that UNESCO will open the door for IUG to develop the skills and competencies in e-learning.
Dr. Al-Khozondar talked about the university relations and good connections with foreign universities hoping that these relations will be more active in online courses, meetings and seminars.
